Open Hours and enterance fee
- Closed: January 1, every Monday, lunar new year, Chuseok
- only, when a Monday is a holiday, the following day is closed according to Article 2 of the 「Regulation on holidays of public offices」
- Children under six must be accompanied by a guardian.
- Open hours : From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m
- Closing time of entrance tickets issuance: 30 minutes before closing time of museum
- Summer(March~October) : AM 09:00 ~ PM 06:00

Precautions to take while visiting the museum.
- The entire museum is smoke free.
- You may not drink or eat in the halls.
- Other than dogs to guide the blind, pets are not allowed.
- Before entering the halls, turn off your cell phone or change to vibration mode.
- Don't touch or damage the exhibited materials.
- Taking photos with flash or tripods or for commercial purposes is prohibited.
- Adults accompanied by children should instruct them about the museum etiquette.

Free entry
- VIPs, diplomats and those accompanying them
- Civil servants coming on official duty
- People entering for public good (those with IDs)
- Children under six accompanied by a guardian
- Elderly over 65 (those with IDs such as the national ID, driving licence or passport)
- Soldiers and police officers taking rest at a public or national medical facility
- Men of national merit and their families according to the regulation on「Men of national merit and law related to etiquette」
- 「War veterans according to the「Law on War Veterans of National Merit」
- Soldiers coming on Military Day, police officers coming on Police Day and children coming on Children's Day
- People with disabilities according to the 「Welfare Law on People with Disabilities」(with disability registration cards)
- People voting in elections according to Article 2 of「Public Officer Election Law」and Articles 8 and 22 of 「Regional Education Office」with voting certificates issued by the National Election Commission (valid for three months from the date of election) (once for each person)
